Basic Skills/Workforce Development
The Basic Skills/Workforce Development office serves to provide workforce preparation and basic skills preparation to community members and employers through programs like the Adult Learners Training and Assistance Program (ALTA), Customized Job Training funds, the Workforce Investment Act (WIA), and the Trade Adjustment Assistance Act for Dislocated Workers.
