The Write Place allows you to submit writing assignments via email for review. Our faculty reviewers will then provide personal assistance to help writing efficiency and overall writing abilities. The reviewer will respond within 3 to 5 days (depending on the length of the assignment) and meet with you, if necessary.

Paying For College
Once you complete your FAFSA and all required steps, please log into self-service to accept your award and review if you have a credit balance (negative balance). If you do, please contact the Business office to request a bookstore account be set up using the anticipated credit balance up to $1,000. Once the bookstore account is set up, it will show on your student account as a miscellaneous charge. It is ready to be used at LCCC Trailblazer bookstore using your student ID.

Join our tutor team, help a student and earn some money! Peer tutoring positions are available in a variety of subjects.
Students helping students through mentoring, example, and collaboration. Join the peer mentor team and earn some money!

The Peter Lello Food Pantry at Main Campus(Nanticoke Campus at the Campus Center 2nd Floor & Wilkes Barre Campus Main Office) provides food to our students who are experiencing food insecurity or may need supplemental food options or personal care items. We realize that there are many financial obligations for students and from time to time it is difficult to cover all expenses necessary to be a successful student. Stop by for some nutritious food.
The Hazleton Center Student Food Pantry is located in Room 207 on the 2nd fl and accessible Monday-Thursday 10 AM-2 PM and 4:30 PM-8:30 PM. It is a confidential program to aid LCCC Hazleton Center Students in need of on the go breakfast and lunch/dinner items, snacks, beverages, basic school supplies, & personal hygiene products. Please see an advisor for admittance or any questions.

Annual Foundation Scholarship Celebration - 2024
The Luzerne County Community College Foundation honored scholarship recipients and their donors, event sponsors, community award winners and friends at the Annual Foundation Scholarship Celebration. The event took place on Saturday, October 26 at the Mohegan Pennsylvania Banquet Room and featured a cocktail hour, open bar, dinner stations, dessert, coffee, music and dancing.

Luzerne County Head Start, Inc. is a federal and state funded early childhood education program that focuses on promoting the school readiness of eligible children ages 3 to 5 through family involvement, health and nutrition, education and family social services. Head Start has an on-campus location at LCCC's Nanticoke Campus.
ACT 101 is an academic supportive program focused on helping you graduate. The program serves students who tested into one or more developmental courses, have earned a GED, be a language learner, or returning adult that has been out of school for 5 or more years, and meet income guidelines.
