Position Title: FT Data Processing Technician, Registrar's Office

Position Classification: Full-Time Classified

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  1. Education - Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and work-related training

  2. Experience - Three (3) years appropriate experience preferred in an educational institute

  3. Skills - Proficient use of computers; communicate effectively both oral and in writing

    Position Responsibilities:

    Generate statistical reports and all other relevant information required for administrative analysis; responsible to work closely with the college Information System to produce accurate student master files; work collaboratively with the Academic Affairs office in the maintenance of an accurate master schedule; responsible for preparing pertinent information for state and federal auditors relative to student records; process complex student registrations and course changes; research and problem solve issues with student records including but not limited to registration, schedules, programs, duplicate records, etc.; manage student/class waitlists; prepares registrations and enrollment reports; process midterm and final grades; operational responsibilities include: Sorting, recording, and communicating data relating to student records and producing class lists for courses and schedules for students and faculty; compile and communicate schedules for regular semester occurrences including, but not limited to Final Exams and Walk-In Registration; work collaboratively with the Information Technology department in decisions and implementation of new programs required for statistical analysis; participates in the registration process; responds to student requests as needed; communicates with students regarding attendance and documenting their status; assists the Financial Aid Director in reporting of student attendance for Federal Aid reports; prepares student reports for Military requests; processes various procedures for all student records for honors and graduation; prepares emails for correspondence to faculty, pertaining to class rosters and grading; assist with graduation when necessary.

    Entry Salary: $29,819/annual

    Standard Work Week: 35 hours
