Luzerne County Community College November Mission Minute
At Luzerne County Community College, November has been a month of honor, creativity, compassion, and achievement.*
We began by paying tribute to the brave men and women who serve our nation at our annual Veterans Day Ceremony, held at the Patrick J. Solano Veteran Center. It was a powerful reminder of the sacrifice and service that protect our freedoms.
Our Schulman Gallery is now showcasing The FOCUSED Exhibition, featuring outstanding fine art photography from talented artists across Northeastern Pennsylvania and beyond. The exhibit runs through December 17 and is open to the community.
LCCC also continued its commitment to student well-being by hosting a forum focused on mental health and substance-use awareness ? encouraging everyone to "stop the stigma and start the support."
On the court, we celebrated a major milestone as Head Men's Basketball Coach ? and proud LCCC alum ? Ron Strothers earned his 200th career college coaching victory. A true Trailblazer leading the next generation.
And as the holiday season approaches, our campus community came together in gratitude and generosity through our All-Campus Food and Coat Drive and the Adopt-A-Trailblazer program, ensuring every student feels supported this season.
This has been your LCCC Mission Minute ? where education, community, and opportunity come together.
