ANNOUNCEMENTS

10/31/2022 - Last day for donations!
The Wellness Committee will host the College's annual "Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat" food-raiser throughout the month of October. The Wellness Committee invites staff and students to bring in a treat of a non-perishable food item to donate to the LCCC Peter J. Lello Food Bank.

Healthy On-The-Go snacks such as heat-and-eat items (soup & ramen noodles), nuts, granola bars, crackers, Pop Tarts (toaster pastries), and pudding would help build the Food Bank inventory for students who need a quick lunch. Items such as pasta, pasta sauce, tuna fish, and other dinner items would serve students who can use a little help stocking their cupboards at home. Personal care items, baby care items and school supplies are also welcomed.

Canned vegetables tend to be overstocked from donations, so those are not needed at this time. Also, for the health and safety of our students, the Food Bank is not able to accept expired items.
A donation box will be placed in the ATC for the Halloween Bash, or you can drop off your donations in Building 14 at the Fitness Center Desk, Building 9 in the faculty suites, Culinary & Health Science buildings. Any questions, please call extension #7237 for Miranda or #7733 for Machelle.
