If you will be continuing your classes on Blackboard Learn, please read the message below. Your instructor will be communicating with you on or before Thursday, March 19 as to how your class(es) will resume remotely.
To access Blackboard Learn, please go to https://learn.luzerne.edu. If you are a new Blackboard student, your username and initial password are both set to your first/last name initials followed by your 7-digit student ID number. For example, if your student ID number was 0987654 and your name was John Doe, your Learn Username and Password would be jd0987654. If you used Learn in the past and changed your password at some point, you will use the password that you created. If you are unable to sign in to your Blackboard account, please contact the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@luzerne.edu or jnester@luzerne.edu.
Once you have signed in successfully, please update your Blackboard password. Once you are signed in to your account, click on your name in the top right corner, go to Settings and then click on Personal Information. Click on Change Password. Enter your new password in both the Password field and the Verify Password field, then click Submit. If your password was entered properly, you will return to Personal Information screen. If you did not enter the password correctly, you will receive a pop-up message saying the passwords did not match and you will remain on the Change Password screen from which you can attempt to change the password again.
Also, please make sure you have a valid email address registered in Learn. It is very important that you verify this information or your instructors will not be able to communicate with you individually. First, you will need to log into your account. To verify that your email account is correct, click on your name in the top right corner, go to Settings, then click on Edit Personal Information. Enter your LCCC student email account information only if the email field is blank. Click Submit.
