11/3/2009 - Holiday Salvation Army Bell Ringing
WE STILL HAVE SOME TIME SLOTS AVAILABLE FOR 12/5/09 BELL RINGING ... It is that time of year again, and the Salvation Army is once again hoping to organize an army of volunteers to staff its holiday bell ringing campaign at the local WalMart in Wilkes-Barre Township. We at Luzerne County Community College would once again like to help in that campaign, with a team effort to staff the WalMart Bell Ringing for an entire Saturday on December 5, 2009.Might you, your family, your department or student organization be interested in joining what we hope to be even a larger volunteer effort than last year ... in the College's ongoing commitment to give back to our larger Northeastern PA community?
If so, please email me at srichards@luzerne.edu to express your interest and commitment. We need teams of two (2) (at least), for one (1) hour intervals on Saturday, 12/5/09 from 10:00 am thru 9:00 pm. Who knows, if the LCCC Volunteer Bell Ringing Army is large enough, we could possibly schedule more than one (1) Saturday ... and many thanks to all of you in advance.
